My grandmother had been like a second mom to me my whole life. I used to go over to her house every day after school until my mom got off work. Over the years, she was at many times even closer to me than my mom. I could always tell her stuff I couldn't tell my mom.
Last week she told me that she was going to have to move. I was shocked. She told me that the insurance money she was living on had nearly run out and she couldn't afford to stay in her house of 40 years. She had taken an equity loan out a while back and it was a variable rate loan. She thought the money she had left from her husband's life insurance policy would be enough to pay it off, but the variable rates kept climbing and had left her a few thousand short. I told her not to worry about it, that I would loan her the money. The thing of it was, I didn't actually have the money to loan her, but I knew I would find a way to come up with it.
My credit wasn't that great, but I decided to look into getting a personal loan from one of the local credit unions. I went all over Addison, Hebron, Sachse, Rockwall and even Fate looking into credit union after credit union – but they were all the same. My credit score was too low. Fortunately, while I was online I came across Garland Title Loans and decided to look into it. My car was free and clear and was worth quite a bit, so I decided to give it a shot. I was very grateful that I was prompty approved (just 2 minutes later) and was able to get a loan with bad credit the same day. My grandmother was so happy that the stress had been removed!
